Industry Analyst Jeff Kagan on Apple iPad Event
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Apple held their annual event, launching the next generation of their iPad and computers, says CNN, Oct 22.
Tech analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.
“Once again Apple wowed fans. While there was really nothing earthshaking or new, this is another step foward. The event took one hour and twenty-five minutes. It discussed Apple, the progress is has made, and what they are introducing today,” says Principal analyst Jeff Kagan.
“Their computers are better, faster, stronger, and surprisingly less expensive. The big news was about their iPads. They introduced a new iPad Air. It is thinner and lighter, it has Siri, the A7 chip and 10 hour battery life. It looks like a very nice device,” says analyst Kagan.
“The iPad Mini now has all that plus the Retina display on a 7.9 inch screen. Apple upgraded their iPad devices. However what they did not do is make them all similar in design, with just different sizes. So if you want the Retina display, but you also want the larger screen, you are out of luck,” says analyst Kagan.
“However, besides that there is nothing that Apple really did wrong or left out that will matter. The company will still grow. So I expect this to be another successful year for their iPad, iPhone and computer lineup,” says Kagan.
