Industry Veteran Ted Vickers Joins Aleyant Management Team

Vickers was the Director of Global Publishing Solutions in Manila and Cairo for the U.S. Department of State where he worked with Embassy programmers to create automated ordering of various publication offerings. Subsequently, he launched his own consulting business to help commercial printing companies understand and manage production costs.

Vickers initially joined the U.S. Department of State in 2005 as a Senior Budget Analyst where he played a major role in creating and documenting a business model that was used by the Department to win a mandated multi-year Most Efficient Organization (MEO) contract, which at that time was the largest ever won by the US Department of State. The proposal included the need for a print MIS system and Vickers subsequently managed its implementation. “The new system allowed us to track, monitor and evaluate costing detail and production data,” Vickers explains, “and it was installed and used on four continents. Building the global publishing system was a natural follow-on to that project.”
