Infinite Monkeys Names Ethics 4 Animals as Mobile App Of The Week for October 20th - 26th
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- Infinite Monkeys has announced today that Ethics 4 Animals is the company’s “App Of The Week” for October 20th - 26th.
Each week, Infinite Monkeys selects one app from the thousands published with their free app maker platform. This app was chosen because it is a great example of the quality, beauty and usefulness that mobile apps can bring to a traditional community.
With more than 1 Billion smartphones now active in the world, and 84% of those users accessing the Internet via their smartphone everyday, the base of potential mobile readers for Ethics 4 Animals is massive and growing by the day. It was this potential that motivated Infinite Monkeys to create an easy drag-and-drop app builder platform that allows anyone to create an app like Ethics 4 Animals without having to hire a mobile agency for thousands of dollars, or learn how to do coding.
Ethics 4 Animals and thousands of other advocates, small businesses, blogs, sports teams and community groups selected the Infinite Monkeys app maker platform to create and launch their mobile app for Android, iPhone and over 5,000 different models of HTML5 compatible smartphones.
In a recent interview about building the app, Ani Wright, Managing Director of Ethics 4 Animals who is an ethical animal rights activist in Australia told Infinite Monkeys the following about their experience entering the app economy:
Infinite Monkeys: Why did you decide to go mobile?
Ani: We decided to go mobile because currently, there isn’t any animal campaigners mobile app that integrate all the global animal issues and connect people to relevant social media networks.
With so many people all over the world using mobile devices and apps, it was the logical path to take. Our main objectives are to raise awareness and to educate. With our motto, “We Stand United”, we hope to bring communities together to promote a better world for the animals.
Infinite Monkeys: How did you find Infinite Monkeys?
Ani: A simple google search led us to the Infinite Monkeys Tribe. There were other app builders available but they did not appear to be as user friendly.
We also support organisations such as Infinite Monkeys that pledges 10% profits to the Orangutan Outreach, as this is in-line with our beliefs and principles.
Infinite Monkeys: What are the biggest issues for running your organization?
Ani: The biggest issue would have to be, keeping up to date with global animal welfare concerns. We need to be able to provide as much information as possible in a simple format so users can easily use the app to look up information in real time. Our app includes over 300 links embedded in 16 modules such as Global Groups, Campaigns, Petitions, Events, Videos, Blog, Chat, etc and speciality links to Vegetarian/Veganism, Ethical Shopping Guides, etc. We also need to ensure that we can distribute the app globally, and we have done so through channels like Google Play and the Apple store.
