InfoRelay Announces Phase 2 Data Center Deployment at Herndon, VA Facility
Herndon, Virginia (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 -- National data center provider InfoRelay Online Systems, Inc. announced plans to deploy phase two of its flagship data center at IAD4 The Dulles Exchange, located in Herndon, VA. The rollout will grow the IAD4 data center 100% by completion. The expansion announcement comes after InfoRelay’s grand opening of its IAD4 facility in June of 2012. Demand for colocation space exceeded IAD4’s data center capacity, InfoRelay management explains. The data center expansions are part of a series of company-wide infrastructure upgrades that InfoRelay began late last year and are ongoing.

Construction of phase 2 at the IAD4 data center takes place at the company’s headquarters and flagship data center, IAD4 - The Dulles Exchange located at 13873 Park Center Road, in Herndon VA.
Phase two construction at IAD4 will increase data center capacity for customers as well as reduce barriers to entry for businesses that are new to colocation. The rollout encompasses new floorspace in the data center as well as new private, locking colocation cabinets, power distribution units, power circuits, networking gear and hot-aisle containment air conditioning systems. InfoRelay President Russ Weiss explains “Small and medium businesses looking to move their servers into a data center benefit from this expansion, because there will be an abundance of ¼ and ½ partial cabinets available, as well as competitively priced full racks. Colocation cabinets at IAD4 are protected by diesel generator backup power infrastructure, flywheel UPS systems and dual power grids, all of which help to ensure there is never downtime.” Construction begins in late March 2014, Weiss explains.
