Informz, Inc. to Separate into Two Companies
Saratoga Springs, NY (PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- Informz, Inc., a leading provider of digital marketing solutions for the association and nonprofit markets, announced today that it has split into two companies. One company will continue providing email marketing and marketing automation services and one company to provide custom software for Fortune 500 media companies.
“Informz began as a custom software provider 19 years ago,” said CEO Joe Tyler. “In 2000, we changed our focus to email marketing but our custom software business continued and has rapidly grown over the last 4 years. In order to continue to grow this business it requires its own identity.”
About the Companies
Informz, Inc is a leading provider of digital marketing solutions to the association and nonprofit industries. Informz, Inc will continue to be led by CEO Joe Tyler and COO Terry Nawrot. The Informz solution provides customers with the tools and expertise to easily and cost-effectively promote their brands, stay in touch, generate and analyze data about their markets, manage information about their members and constituents, and receive valuable feedback to refine future action. The Informz portfolio of solutions includes email marketing, marketing automation and marketing consulting services.
Railroad19, Inc. develops custom software and provides cloud platform solutions for Fortune 500 media companies. John Luttmer, formerly VP of Business Administration at Informz, has been tapped to become the CEO of this new company. Railroad19 hires nationally and is renowned for its highly selective screening and interview process yielding nearly 100% staff retention. Railroad19 primarily works in a staff augmentation and managed services model where it provides an experienced, high functioning software team of professionals who act as a combination of business analyst, software architect and developer.
Rationale for the Separation
Informz, Inc. made the decision to separate these businesses as a result of several factors.
1. The corporate cultures of Railroad19, Inc. and Informz, Inc. have many similarities such as putting clients first, but also have important differences as well. This split will enable each company to further refine their cultures, traditions and benefits according to the needs of their people.
2. The separation of the companies will enable Informz, Inc. to focus solely on growing and improving digital marketing solutions for associations and nonprofits.
3. The recruitment of top national software developers will be easier for Railroad19 as a separate entity.
4. Expanding the custom software development business outside of existing clients will be facilitated under a separate brand name.
Moving Forward
Both businesses will operate independently under the newly formed holding company, Inbox Holdings, Inc. CFO Patrick McGowan will serve as an officer for both companies and will conduct financial analyses and planning activities.
“I am very excited to be leading Railroad19," said CEO John Luttmer. “We have a multitude of opportunities for growth and to create truly innovative solutions for media companies that will provide instant ROI. The team is thrilled to be a part of a new company that has a strong foundation of success.”
