Inmar’s VP, Application Software Engineering, Named Among Top Women Business Leaders
Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- Inmar, a company that operates intelligent commerce networks, announced that Vice President, Application Software Engineering, Melissa Wittner, has been named one of 21 women business leaders honored by the Triad Business Journal. The Triad region of North Carolina includes Winston-Salem, Greensboro and High Point.
Wittner is a skilled technology executive – highly regarded at Inmar and within the industry for both exceptional technical and leadership skills. She currently leads a team of more than 100 technology professionals and has held leadership roles in community service organizations throughout her career.
Her efforts in the area of service currently center on empowering and encouraging women to pursue careers in technology/STEM fields. She serves as Team Sponsor for NC First Robotics, the Triad's first (and North Carolina's second) all-female team at the NC FIRST Robotics Competition. She also helped found Inmar Empowering Women to create a culture of professionals and leaders who embrace gender diversity.

Wittner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Financial Systems from Penn State University and an MSIS, Information Science, from the University of Pittsburgh.
