Innovative Auto Care Shop Marks Grand Opening on April 29
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (PRWEB) April 25, 2017 -- Automotive repair experts Matt and Judy Curry have opened their newest venture, Craftsman Auto Care in Kingstowne. Formerly Kingstowne Auto Care, the 4,400-square-foot repair facility specializes in European, import and domestic vehicles, including hybrid and electric models.
“I’ve been in the automotive repair business in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 35 years,” said Owner Matt Curry. “Craftsman Auto Care is the culmination of our vision for top-of-the-line services and technology for people who want the very best experience in the auto repair market at a fair price.”
To mark its grand opening, Craftsman Auto Care will hold its first “Cars & Coffee” community car show on Saturday, April 29 from 7:00 – 10:00 a.m. The event will feature over $3,000 in prizes and giveaways, including $500 for first prize, a free set of tires and an iPhone 7.
Along with special public events like Cars & Coffee, the company is focused on community outreach. “We started Craftsman Cares, a unique community outreach program,” Matt said. “We provide a financial break to someone in need of auto repair or transportation.”
The Alexandria shop features state-of-the-art repair equipment, including the latest diagnostic tools, alignment machines, tire changers and balancers, matched with ASE-certified Master technicians. Other services offered are a free shuttle to and from home or work, a family- and pet-friendly showroom, and an online night-drop forms for off-hour convenience. The shop also has the area’s only three-year / 36,000-mile warranty.
Craftsman Auto Care is Ask Patty Certified Female Friendly to help attract and retain women customers, and offers Show ‘n Tell Service that includes digital photo inspection. Technicians send a text with pictures of needed repairs and recommendations to help customers make better-informed decisions.

Craftsman Auto Care is located at the Festival at Manchester Lakes, 7001-A Manchester Boulevard in Alexandria. All current employees will remain with the new shop, which serves the Washington, D.C. metro area. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
