NACD (National Association of Container Distributors) has awarded the one of a kind Actual Fruit Cup the Bronze level award in the Food segment for the Packages of the Year Awards. Also recognizing the Actual Fruit Cup was Food and Beverage Packaging for excellence in the Rigid Plastic category for the Best of Food and Beverages Packages of the Year 2014.

About the Product- The five ounce, 1 serving fruit cup container is small but has character. The label resembles a green smiling face and a very eye appealing design. As the product is consumed, the reverse side of the label is revealed to the consumer with a message of, “EAT. SMILE. REPEAT.” The appealing design of the container has purpose as well. The container’s side walls curve inward for ease in holding, a critical feature for a grab ‘n go product. The lid has several unique features including an easy to pull opening tab and an indentation for cup stack ability which maximizes retail shelf space. The container is made out of recycled plastic. The bottom mold of the cup is specially designed to separate the fruit juice from the fruit for extended fruit freshness. The five ounce container fits well in a standard cup holder and is portable for the active lifestyle. The Actual Fruit Cups are being sold at select Target® stores, in the states of IN, IL, MI, MN, WI, IA, MO, NE, SD, ND, WA, OR, and CA.
