Innovative Electronic Propane Gauge Competition Announced for National Grilling Month

The competition is designed to showcase the unique features of this new propane gauge. And in a further creative move the Company will award a variable number of prizes depending on how many entries there are. So entrants’ chances of winning will not be damaged if there are large numbers who join the competition.
The Propane GasGenie is a new product that actively warns the user that the propane is beginning to run low. Rather like the low fuel light in a car. It starts to play a little tune when the gas gets to around 20% capacity of the tank: So in plenty of time to finish grilling and choose a convenient time to replace the tank. The manufacturers claim it is the only gauge that actively warns the user in time to finish cooking what’s on the grill.
It was invented and developed in response to a need expressed by one of the US major grill manufacturers. They had pointed out that the most popular device on the market, a simple pressure gauge, typically only gives just a few minute’s notice before the gas runs out. (This is due to the fact that pressure in a liquefied gas such as propane does not alter with volume.) Additionally they wanted a device that actively warns the user rather than relying on him to check the gauge at the right moment.

The competition will also feature a novel twist: Competitors will be allowed to enter multiple times if they tell their friends and contacts about the competition using social media such as Facebook and Twitter. The Competition will be open to enter on the Propane GasGenie website and also on its Facebook page and will run during the month of July.
