Innovative Providers in Informatics Will Be Honored at AMIA’s iHealth Conference
(PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- AMIA’s “Provider Innovation in Informatics, Pi², Award" will be presented at the opening of the AMIA iHealth Conference in Boston on May 28th. As a play on the name - the Pie Award - the winning team will receive its preferred pie every month for a year.
The Pi² Award recognizes a team’s significant achievement through the innovative application and dissemination of informatics-related solutions, contributing to the improvement of the delivery of healthcare. The winning team will be invited to and honored at the AMIA iHealth Conference in Boston on May 28.
Recognizing that true innovation is a team effort, the award honors teams of healthcare professionals who have demonstrated innovation in the application of clinical informatics. AMIA partnered with SSi-SEARCH to establish the award in 2014.
