Innovative System for Self-Catheterization Invented by InventHelp Client (CMB-1794)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 21, 2013 -- Individuals dealing with health constraints on a daily basis generally appreciate as much independence as possible. Thanks to a new idea proposed by two inventors from Eaton, Ohio, greater independence is now a reality for catheter patients.
They created a prototype for the patent-pending ALL-IN-ONE-CATHETER to eliminate the need to purchase and use rubber gloves, sanitary wipes and a lubricant for self-catheterization. Their method not only requires less time and effort but promotes independence since the user needs no assistance.
Furthermore, it reduces the risk of exposure to germs and subsequent infection. It also features a compact design that is easy to use, carry and store. In addition, it is affordably priced, convenient and disposable.
The inventors' personal experience with current catheterization methods was their motivation for this idea. "We wanted to design a more convenient method for both home use as well as for travel," they said.
The original design was submitted to the Columbus office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
