Institute of Food Safety and Health (IFSH) Launches Food Processing Center of Excellence in Chicago at Annual Meeting
Bedford Park, IL (PRWEB) September 28, 2017 -- The Illinois Institute of Technology’s Institute for Food Safety and Health completed another successful Annual Meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Gerald Ludwick, All Natural Freshness, introduced the Food Processing Center of Excellence at IFSH with a focus on a High Pressure Processing (HPP) in Chicago to make the technology accessible to more food companies. The Center will not only educate the Global Community on HPP but provide a resource for companies to gain access to the market at the speed of business.
There are tremendous resources in Illinois with in the bread basket of America which has sprung a new consortium to help food companies understand cutting edge HPP technology and its benefits. The Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) is a one-of-a-kind applied food science research consortium comprised of the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the food industry.
