Interactive “Hair Now” Application Allows Prospective Hair Restoration Patients to Sample Hair with the Touch of a Button
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- Hair Now’s Official Launch for IOS devices this month was greeted enthusiastically by Dr. Parsa Mohebi’s patients, who have been eagerly anticipating a software program which would enable them to visualize what they would look like post hair transplant. Dr. Parsa Mohebi, who runs many successful hair restoration clinics in Beverly Hills and in the greater Los Angeles area, worked for over a year to perfect the “Hair Now” application in order to provide enough customizable features that will allow prospective patients to more easily enhance their before and after pictures. The application utilizes a user friendly interface which currently supports many high resolution hair samples fit many different hairlines and hair loss types.
The application renders photorealistic representations of its users with their new hair. The app utilizes intuitive pattern recognition technology which automatically overlays any of the available hair samples onto the user’s headshot. Additional customization options include the ability to scale the image or drag the sample hair in order to proportionally match the user’s headshot and hairline.
Patients can select their sample based on their own hair classification, from fine to wavy and everything in between. Patients can also select their sample image based on their known progression of hair loss. Hair Now users can set up a consultation with Dr. Mohebi in a way that is convenient, or share their before and after pictures with friends and family on social media, all with just a touch of a button.
The Hair Now app has potential to garner support from many hair restoration professionals in the coming months, as it adds more interactive features, which allow doctors to qualify patients who are ideal candidates for hair transplantation. Dr. Mohebi’s hopes for this app are: “To have adequate samples of hair that fit any type of hair loss, for any patient, in order to give realistic expectations before proceeding with a hair transplant.”
