The survey, titled Cost of Living survey and conducted by ECA International, has researched into the most expensive global and European cities for UK expats, finding that the Venezuelan city of Caracas is the most expensive. Luanda in Angola came in second place, with Oslo in Norway receiving third place. In Europe, the most expensive city was found to be Oslo, with Stavanger and Zurich following in second and third place respectively. According to the report, the majority of the top ten in the regional list of most expensive cities in 2013 is situated in Western European cities in Switzerland, Finland, and Scandinavia.
