(PRWEB UK) 27 September 2013 -- It has been reported in the London Evening Standard that plans have already been submitted to Theresa May’s office, which would allow 100 “exceptional talent” visas to be granted each year. The home office already issues 1,000 such visas annually for world class artists, scientists and performers; however, the major is hopeful that the extra visas can assist hi-tech start-ups and fashion houses in particular as these are often said to struggle with Britain’s costly and bureaucratic visa system. Johnson’s deputy mayor for business Kit Malthouse believes that 100 visas was a low starting point but suggested that there was room for growth.
