InterDev Wins Managed IT Services Contract with the City of Beaufort, South Carolina
(PRWEB) April 26, 2016 -- InterDev, an Atlanta-area provider of information technology and security services, today announced it is the new Managed Information Technology (IT) Services provider for the City of Beaufort, South Carolina. Having completed an IT assessment to serve as the foundation for the city’s new maintenance and support program, InterDev will provide 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of servers, networks, employee workstations, backup systems, and hosted applications with guaranteed priority response for issues that arise.
For the contract, which InterDev won through a competitive bidding process that included both public and private service providers, the City of Beaufort will also receive strategic planning, help desk support, remote access administration, security services, comprehensive network and desktop device reporting, disaster recovery planning/administration, and Microsoft Exchange email system management and support.

InterDev will be performing vendor management, acting as a liaison between the other technology providers, such as telecommunications, that work with the City of Beaufort. In a planning capacity, InterDev will be educating city officials about technology advances that other municipalities are using, helping the city to implement and adopt improvements as they are approved.
