Intermedix announces continued European expansion with appointment of Dirk Verbeek
(PRWEB UK) 2 June 2016 -- Benelux and Germany are the next countries set to benefit from the latest crisis management software, as global specialist Intermedix concentrates its next phase of European expansion in the region. To lead this effort, Intermedix has brought on board Dirk Verbeek as director of business development.
In this role, Dirk Verbeek will help drive Intermedix’s wider European profile, with a particular focus on the Benelux and German markets where his experience and expertise is strongest. With a career portfolio of C-level positions, and in-depth Geographic Information System, or GIS, experience, Dirk will help guide the European sales generation strategy of the company’s WebEOC, Optima Live and Optima Predict solutions.

The introduction of Intermedix solutions to this market couldn’t come at a more critical time. Some parts of Benelux have come under recent scrutiny for their emergency management and response. This follows a number of serious security alerts in public places, an increased threat from international terrorism, and the handling of an evacuation of a major hospital in Amsterdam.
Dirk Verbeek, who has more than 20 years of GIS and emergency planning experience in the Benelux and German region, said: “I don’t want to see pockets of Europe where there are inadequate emergency response capabilities; the stakes are simply too high. The Intermedix solutions have a recognised track record, and I believe no European city, or country, can risk being without it in the twenty-first century.”
