International CyberSecurity Institute achieves new cyber security accreditation.
London, United Kingdom, 29/08/2016 (PRWEB UK) 31 August 2016 -- The UK registered International CyberSecurity Institute (ICSI), which offers a series of specialized cybersecurity courses for graduates and experienced IT professionals, has recently earned accreditation from two of the UK’s most respected bodies in the field, CREST (http://www.crest-approved.org) and GCHQ (https://apmg-cyber.com/products/gct-gchq-certified-training).
This follows ICSI’s earlier accreditation of many of its courses by the University of Central Lancashire, which grants credits towards their own MSc Degree in CyberSecurity for a number of ICSI courses.
In particular, ICSI’s CPT Certified Penetration Tester has been accredited by CREST, the CIP Certified ISO 27001 Professional has been accredited by GCHQ, and the course bundle of CPT, CIP and ICSI’s CDFE Certified Digital Forensics Examiner offer certificate holders a total of 60 credits for UCLAN’s MSc in Cybersecurity.
ICSI courses are delivered to individuals around the world via the Institute’s instructor-led Live Online Learning method. This method combines real-time virtual classroom sessions delivered by practicing industry experts with 24/7 access to resources, libraries and real-world scenario labs. The emphasis of ICSI courses is on hands-on training courses that bridge the gap between theory and practice, in order to satisfy the industry’s growing demand for qualified and competent specialists in cybersecurity.
The recent accreditation further reinforces the value of ICSI professional qualifications, as CREST is known to offer assurance to organizations wishing to buy penetration testing services, while GCHQ helps individuals and organizations quickly identify high quality relevant cyber security training.
