Como, Italy (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- A’ Design Award and Competition announces the call for submissions to the “International Fine-Arts Design Competition 2014”. This is an annual juried competition for fine-arts which includes physical exhibition of selected works, the annual yearbook publication, and a special public-relations campaign to promote the award winning artists. Entries are accepted worldwide from artists, designers and makers from all fine-art disciplines.
The International Fine-Arts Design Competition is organized in three phases. The first phase called "preliminary evaluation" is free for all participants. Artists, designers and makers could enter their works online to get an early score and insights about their art works and installations. The second phase permits artists to nominate their works if their works pass the first phase. In the third phase, exhibition space allocation in Italy and yearbook publication is provided for free to awarded artists.
The International Fine-Arts Design Competition accepts a broad spectrum of art mediums and styles as long as they demonstrate artistic talent and creativity, including design-oriented art-works such as functional pottery, jewelry, clothing, accessories, furniture, functional art, video, film as well as classical art-work categories for large scale installations, sculptures, ceramics, 3D-works, paintings, drawings, graphics, illustrations, photography, assemblage and mix-media entries. Each type of entry will be judged separately.
Artists must prepare very high-resolution, professionally taken photographs and visuals of their works in order to be eligible for participation in the accolades. Furthermore an editorial text that explains inspirations and technique behind their art works shall accompany their works. Laureates will get, in addition to the exhibition in Italy and yearbook publication; invitation to the exclusive gala-night dinner, translation of their awarded entries to 20+ languages, press release preparation and distribution to thousands of publications, and the award trophy and design excellence certificate.
Entries to the International Fine-Arts Design Competition will be judged by a grand jury panel composed of academics from fine-arts, design and architecture fields, as well as professional designers and media members. Entries will be anonymous and blind-voted to ensure the participating works get a fair evaluation. Applications to the annual juried art competition shall be completed by midnight, Friday, February 28, 2014. Results will be announced on April 15, 2014. Entries will be accepted online at http://www.adesignaward.com.
