International Squash Academy Announces 2014 Summer Camp Schedule Including New Invitational Camps
Fairfield, CT (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- The summer squash camp leader,International Squash Academy, has published their 2014 summer squash camp schedule. Hundreds of squash players attend these camps annually to get better, make friends, and have fun. Overnight and day squash camps are offered.
The International Squash Academy has a unique balance between instruction and match/point play at their camps, providing campers with the opportunity to learn new skills while also gaining important match experience. Trinity College Head Men's Squash Coach Paul Assaiante, winner of 14 national collegiate championships and the ISA Executive Director, says “summer squash camp provides a great opportunity for each player to improve their individual skills in a learning environment that is both fun and challenging.”
Squash is a great sport to learn at a young age. We try to give our campers an amazing experience with both learning and fun that makes them want to continue to play the sport for years to come. Many coaches appreciate the role that camp plays in the development of individual junior squash players. The repetition that each person received while at camp really helps to create the proper habits on the squash court. As International Squash Academy Executive Director Keri Hostetler stated, "Our goal is to make sure each camper learns the proper technique for all strokes and leaves camp with a greater confidence in their squash game." As the International Squash Academy has grown, we have found it necessary to add more sessions at most of our locations to accommodate our families desire to attend multiple weeks.
Newly offered this year will be two Elite Invitational Camps, at Trinity College (CT) and The Lawrenceville School (NJ), for ranked players. These camps are by invitation only and will offer training and guidance designed to improve a player’s ranking. College Showcase camps will again be offered to train high school players looking to train in front of college coaches.
