InternationalStudent.com Announces 9th Annual Travel Video Contest Winners
Neptune Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- InternationalStudent.com, the premier international education marketing company serving students and institutions worldwide, is proud to announce the newest winners of their 9th annual Travel Video Contest. Each year students from around the world compete for an array of prizes by submitting quality videos describing a trip they would love to take or a proposed study abroad, with winners announced on the last day of International Education Week.
“Our contest was initially created in hopes of inspiring students to pursue their dreams of an international education, and now in its 9th year, we could not be more proud of the outcome,” says Bryanna Davis, Marketing Coordinator at Internationalstudent.com.
The contest is open to current and prospective study abroad and international students hoping to help fund their education, causing an upsurge in popularity every year. Each of this year’s 59 submissions are reviewed for creativity, originality and quality by an elite judging panel comprised of leaders in international education as well as past winners.
Ranking high in all three facets, Danielle Boxill’s hand-drawn and impeccably inspirational video, “My Illustrated Life” has earned the $4,000 grand prize to study animation in the United States. In addition to a cash award, Boxill will receive a blog on InternationalStudent.com to document her travels.
Second place winner Anh Nguyen has earned a $500 prize for his heartfelt video, “Revisiting Homeland Vietnam.” Nguyen self-produced the music in his short video, adding an appropriate touch of somber to the subject of poverty in his home country.

Ebrahim Kayali’s sentimental film, “City of Science and Blood” won the Viewers’ Choice award with 1,464 votes, earning him a cash prize of $1,000.
“This contest allows students to showcase their creativity and enthusiasm for international travel and education and each year we are surprised at the quality and message in the submissions.” says Davis. “InternationalStudent.com knows firsthand how costly studying abroad can be and we are simply thrilled to help students get one step closer to obtaining their dreams.”
