Clifton Park, New York (PRWEB) December 11, 2013 -- Internet Marketing Ninjas (IMN), one of the preeminent internet marketing companies in the world, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Thom Craver. Craver will be taking on the role of VP of Development and IT. His role will be expansive, and will include the improvement of internal processes, as well as the creation of industry-leading tools. As a frequent contributor to Search Engine Watch, Thom is a well-respected name within both the search and web development arenas.
Jim Boykin, founder and CEO of Internet Marketing Ninjas, has hired Craver in yet another bid to improve his already renowned leadership team. Over the past year, he has hired highly-respected names in the search industry, such as Kris Jones, Chris Boggs, Joe Hall, Kim Krause Berg, Ann Smarty, and he has recently joined forces with Gab Goldenberg.
“People with Thom's talents are rare,” Boykin said. “He's an established SEO and online marketing thought leader. He's been an industry blogger, (including being a regular contributor to Search Engine Watch), and he's also a regular speaker at several online marketing conferences, as well as a TEDx speaker. But even beyond his online marketing expertise, he's a great teacher, and a great mentor, and he's an organizer and leader, those are rare skills. Thom is going to have a big part in growing our company expertise as well as our technology, and I'm feeling really lucky to have him on our team.”
A seasoned veteran, Thom has been coding HTML since 1993, and has been interested in search for well over a decade. Since working as owner and operator of New York Web Works, a web marketing firm in upstate New York, Thom has worked as a web specialist at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Saunders College of Business, and at TopRank Online Marketing, where he took on the role of Senior Technical SEO Manager.
Craver shares Boykin’s enthusiasm about joining the team. “I couldn’t be more excited,” he said. “The Internet Marketing Ninjas team is top-notch. My goal is to continue to raise the bar and help lead the development team to new heights for our clients and our brand.” Thom will be leading a team of ninjas as they build and improve upon existing tools to meet the growing needs of the company, its clients, and to further enhance the tool offerings WebmasterWorld and the Developer Shed Network, properties IMN acquired in 2012. “It’s very exciting,” he said. “We’ve got some great stuff on the horizon and I can’t wait to show the world what the ninjas can do.”
