interRel Achieves Record Number of Oracle ACE Members with Opal Alapat
Arlington, Texas (PRWEB) February 17, 2016 -- Oracle has awarded Opal Alapat, EPM Cloud Specialist at interRel Consulting, the status of Oracle ACE Associate. Alapat is the seventh interRel employee to become a member of the Oracle ACE Program. She joins fellow ACE Associates Wayne Van Sluys and Robert Gideon, and ACE Directors Sarah Zumbrum, Glenn Schwartzberg, Tracy McMullen, and Edward Roske. interRel is home to three of the four female Oracle ACE members specializing in EPM.

The Oracle ACE Program was founded in 2003 as a way to recognize and reward members of the Oracle technology and application communities for their contributions, as well as help Oracle make its products more efficient and effective. Members of the program are technologically adept and eager to share their knowledge and experience. To become an Oracle ACE Associate, an individual must actively build a sound community profile and must have initiated community contributions in at least two areas.
Alapat is a recognized member of the Oracle community and brings over 15 years of experience in the EPM industry. She is ODTUG Volunteer of the Year, a member of the ODTUG Board of Directors, and Marketing Chair for ODTUG and Kscope16. Alapat’s past involvement with ODTUG includes presenting and selecting BI/EPM tracks for Kscope conferences as well as serving on the ODTUG Marketing Committee. She also co-founded the North Texas Hyperion User Group and is the author of popular blog WomanInEPM.com. Prior to joining interRel, Alapat worked with TopDown Consulting for over seven years.
