These events aim to provide a framework to help businesses protect consumer data and to be as prepared as possible for a breach event with the expertise of security, law enforcement, and business experts, and with recommendations from the OTA 2014 Data Protection & Breach Readiness Guide.

Mr. Rohrbaugh will be joining a panel of experts from the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Secret Service, Better Business Bureau and others. Panel abstracts will consist of three key topics: moving from compliance to stewardship as it relates to privacy policy; reviewing key challenges and steps for businesses to enhance data security; and brand protection, BYOD and mobile device optimization. Attendees will have the option to participate in the afternoon breach readiness planning workshop which will include a data breach response exercise (Table Top) to demonstrate the impact and business shock arising from a breach incident.
