Into Action Treatment Announces the Opening of their Female Transitional Living Facility
(PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- IntoAction Treatment (IAT) is excited to announce the opening of our female transitional living facility; the Rise and Shine House! This house was inspired by several female clients who specifically requested to remain within the continuum of care at IntoAction Treatment. As is always the case, when our clients speak, we listen; and so the Rise and Shine House adds a new dimension to our recovery community. Licensed by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) and opened solely to house our female clients who have successfully completed the IAT program, the minimum commitment for residence is six months. The desire to remain within a healthy recovery environment in which to learn new living skills is an important privilege extended to women who have been involved in our treatment program. Some may choose to stay longer while they work, go to school, and gain financial and emotional independence while learning to live life free of substances of abuse. They will be welcomed into the alumni program, encouraged to take part in mentoring sessions with current clients, and to follow-up with outpatient therapy with their primary therapists in treatment. The circle of recovery never closes completely; we continue to pass on to others what we once learned. Rise and Shine House will be honored to be part of that tradition.
Big Book Step Study and Florida Drug Rehab
As with all of the other activities associated with IntoAction, the new facility makes liberal use of the Big Book Step Study. Residents are asked to admit that they will not be able to conquer their demons without outside help. Through the 12 steps put forth in the Big Book, residents of the halfway house will be expected to examine and rectify past grievances with the help of a trusted sponsor. By making amends for these errors, residents will be able to move forward with a clean slate. In fact, addiction can cause severe damage to marriages, families and friendships. When residents are asked to take responsibility for their prior actions, they will ultimately be embarking on a new journey in life. By using the Big Book, residents of the Change House can modify their behaviors so that they can overhaul their lives and help others who are suffering from the same addictive tendencies.
Benefits of Long-Term Sobriety Houses
When it comes to Florida drug rehab programs, IntoAction's halfway house offers a number of prominent benefits. In fact, patients who have recently left IntoAction's main recovery facility may feel quite vulnerable. A halfway house will provide people with a bit more freedom as they continue the recovery process. While residents may be able to leave the halfway house during the day, they will nevertheless need to remain wholly abstinent when it comes to drugs and alcohol. The halfway house must remain free of these substances at all times. Residents will also have to adhere to a specific curfew set out by the managers of the facility.

All of IntoAction's projects are designed to promote steady progress through time. Residents will be able to ease back into everyday life while remaining true to their new convictions. Most individuals will eventually be able to find jobs, rebuild defunct relationships and find meaning on the grand stage of life.
