Intrafocus releases more Getting-Started guides for QuickScore
Winchester, England (PRWEB UK) 29 October 2013 -- Earlier this year Intrafocus started work on a set of quick-start guides. They recognised that working from a blank sheet is always a daunting task. User manuals are helpful but real-live examples instantly bring a system alive. This is the approach Intrafocus has taken with its latest set of Getting-Started Guides. They cover every aspect of the application and provide step-by-step instructions to build a working scorecard and dashboards using the acclaimed QuickScore software.
The documents start with basic navigation and move on to metric guides and a step-by-step walk-though of the entire system. Intrafocus believe that business users could set up a working business scorecard including a set of dashboards in hours.
“The guides are provide a useful set of instructions to an already intuitive application,” says Intrafocus “We have extended the range of Getting-Started guides but have still targeted business uses who are used to using spreadsheets, documents and presentations”.
For those that want more detailed information Intrafocus also provides eighteen training videos. These are aimed more at a systems administrator but are freely available to anyone. To further encourage use of the software Intrafocus will provide a 30 day free trial with no obligation to buy.
Intrafocus has also recently opened its Annual Business Scorecard Survey. The survey will run from October to December 2013 and the results will be published in January 2014.
QuickScore is the only Balanced Scorecard Software formally recommended by the Balanced Scorecard Institute. It provides the means to link company strategy to objectives and metrics and finally to strategic initiatives if required. The sophisticated tracking interface turns metrics into ‘scores’ which are then rolled up providing a typical red, amber, green, traffic light assessment for all levels within a company or organisation. This delivers an at-a-glance health-check to departments, divisions and headquarters that can be used as the starting point to drill-down back down for detailed information.
This business scorecard technology has been available since 2004 in the USA and is highly rated by companies like Starbucks and organisations such as the US Army. Cloud based scorecard solutions are gaining traction in the UK and Europe. It would seem that the time is right to investigate.
