Introducing Great River Learning
Dubuque, Iowa (PRWEB) November 24, 2014 -- Great River Technologies, a higher education publishing company, announced that it has officially changed its company name to Great River Learning. In addition to changing its name, this week the company also unveiled a redesigned website, http://www.greatriverlearning.com. The company’s ownership and staff have not changed.
President and COO Chad Chandlee said, “We’re changing our name from Great River Technologies to Great River Learning because we feel the word ‘learning’ is a better representation of our focus as a company. While our publications are built with multi-media and delivered through technology, our mission is creating more engaging and relevant publications that enhance learning. We also work with our authors to develop tools and reports to measure students’ learning within our publications.”
Great River Learning’s focus will continue to be developing strong partnerships and creating publications that will bring value to students and instructors. “We’re always looking for educators that are passionate about what they do and look at creative ways to help their students learn,” said John Vail, Assistant Vice President. “Our intent is not to change or tell someone what they should be doing in the classroom, but to work together to enhance what they’re already doing by making it easier for their students to grasp the material. Continued support to our authors, instructors, and students will always be a priority for Great River Learning.”
