Introducing Scout Automotive... Driving Dealer Sales to New Heights
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 24, 2014 -- TradeInVelocity, the most complete solution for dealers looking to provide customers a true end-to-end online purchasing experience, chose the NADA Convention & Expo 2014 to announce a new name and rebranding.
Moving forward, the company will be known as Scout Automotive, representing the company’s ultimate goal to assist consumers in all elements of searching for and finding their next car. Scout Automotive utilizes pricing data as determined by industry leader NADA Guides.
“This name change is about simplifying a process that has been made too difficult for consumers,” said Scout Automotive Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Brett Lippel. “Using a dealer’s website shouldn’t lead the customer to third party sites where the lead is potentially sent to multiple dealers…it should lead to a sale for the dealer.”
“We like what Scout represents: our ability to cut through all of the information that exists and find the best solution for both consumer and dealer…really allowing them to ‘be prepared,’” added Lippel.
The branding change is part of an aggressive push in 2014 that will include major alliances with like-minded dealer-centric partners as well as a major influx of new clients.
As part of Scout’s native programming, the customer interface is embedded into the dealer website, where it can be white labeled or referred to as the NADA Guides Trade-In Value. Additionally, dealers add live links to their inventory, allowing customers to select a car and make an appointment, all without leaving the dealer’s site.
“While it is something that we do better than anyone else in this space, helping dealers provide a fair and accurate price for their customers’ trade-in isn’t the only part of the transaction we deal with,” added Lippel. “Our suite of white labeled and customizable products allows dealers to provide their customers with a seamless experience that keeps them on the dealership website and as an active buyer, longer.”
Scout offers four levels of solutions that offer dealers high powered tools to increase sales, including white label branding, customizable interfaces, analytic reporting, printable confirmation certificate, basic payment calculator, appointment scheduler, proprietary custom photo and video uploader, real-time inventory integration and geo-tracking, social media integration, a premium finance tool and the proprietary Used Car Market Report, which searches the Internet to give dealers a range of used car pricing.
Started in 2004 as GetAutoAppraise.com, Scout has experienced steady growth by adding to and refining its product offerings as well as adding new, dealer-centric partners like NADA and Frasier McCombs.
The name change went into effect on January 1, 2014 with a soft launch to dealers currently on the program and was followed by brand integration, including new logos and website.
