Introducing The Investment Advisor Body of Knowledge + Test Bank: Readings for the CIMA Certification
Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 18, 2015 -- Investment Management Consultants Association® (IMCA®) introduced today a comprehensive text created in collaboration with Wiley designed for CIMA® certification candidates and experienced investment advisors: The Investment Advisor Body of Knowledge + Test Bank: Readings for the CIMA Certification. The new resource, edited by former IMCA education director Jim Dobbs, CIMA®, CFP®, CPWA®, is now available for ordering. Paired with IMCA’s online Candidate Resource Center, the book helps certification candidates prepare and study for the CIMA certification process.
“We are pleased that Wiley is delivering a valuable study text covering the knowledge and skill competencies necessary for today’s investment advisor who works with individual or institutional clients,” said Sean R. Walters, CAE, IMCA’s executive director and CEO. “Anyone considering the prestigious CIMA certification—indeed anyone interested in professional investment advice—will find the textbook and its accompanying resources invaluable.”
Content is aligned with the CIMA certification’s six core topic domains and covers the most relevant subject matter from expert practitioners and academics. The 21 chapters contain learning objectives and summaries to guide candidates through the study process.
Last month, MIT Sloan School of Management joined the ranks of registered education providers for CIMA certification. Candidates now have four U.S.-based options for completing the education component of the certification: Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, MIT Sloan School of Management, and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. The four schools are ranked among America’s top-20 business schools, according to Bloomberg Businessweek and U.S. News & World Report.
Since 2011, CIMA certification has been recognized as the only financial services credential to meet international standards (ISO 17024) for personnel certification and earn accreditation by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
