InventHelp Client and Excavator Operator Helps Invent Accessory to Avoid Damaging Metal Lines (LFY-730)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- An excavator operator and his wife from Oakdale, La., have developed the SMART BAR: an accessory that prevents downtime for the operator caused by having uncover and avoid a metal line. The design helps to reduce the amount of physical labor required on the job, which saves the construction business money. Designed to save time and effort, it prevents the workers from having to repair a metal line due to excavator damage. Additionally, the invention is easy and convenient to use when on the job.
"The invention saves time and effort for operators because it takes the work out of excavating," explained one of the inventors. "We were inspired to develop our idea because we wanted to help save downtime due to the physical labor involved in digging with a shovel to uncover and avoid a metal line."
The original design was submitted to the Lafayette office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
