InventHelp® Client Patents “Sure-Flo” - New Invention Could Make Home Water Drainage Easier
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 10, 2015 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Illinois, has designed a new kind of storm drain emitter. This invention is patented.
The “Sure-Flo” is designed to discharge water from a lawn to the desired site. It could enable users to drain water away from a down spout, garage, driveway, patio, sidewalk, pool or landscaped area. A key benefit would be its ability to discharge water and some debris without clogging. There would be no restriction in the mouth of the discharge area. The invention would also feature a discreet design and automatic operation.
The user would install the Sure-Flo at ground level. Water could flow from the collection points and provide enough force to lift the lid and drain the water. The lid would be raised only when water is being discharged. A pilot hole in the hinged lid area could be used as an optional way to lock down the lid by inserting a pin if so desired. The unit could also feature a stop that will allow the hinged lid to raise up to 1.75 inches to prevent damage to any lawn mower.
“I find that conventional drain emitters become clogged with debris from downspouts or catch basins. I wanted to prevent this mess and inconvenience,” said the inventor.
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 05-SLR-153 at (800) 851-6030.
