InventHelp Client Patents “Tag-Along Travel Mat” – Invention Provides Comfort and More for Stressed Travelers
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Washington, has designed a wraparound mat that attaches to a piece of carry-on luggage. This invention is patented.
“Tag-Along Travel Mat” includes an inner blanket for added comfort when lying down or sitting. The invention enhances the comfort of airport seating, making air travel more accommodating and comfortable. The accessory lessens the stress associated with waiting at the airport. Tag-Along Travel Mat is suitable for use during emergencies as well. The unit also protects luggage from rough handling. Designed with colorful fabric, the accessory could enable a user to identify his or her luggage quickly and easily.
Tag-Along Travel Mat would consist of a rectangular mat that would measure 50 inches long and 18 inches wide. The mat would be comprised of cloth, foam or other padding, and elastic. The sectioned design allows the mat to conform to the average luggage for convenience. The sections are held together via cloth hinges for easier folding. The mat is designed to fold to form a pillow/headrest. A blanket is attached to one side of the mat via nylon fastener strips. The mat includes two cloth bands that wrap around a piece of luggage, securing the mat in position. There are large pockets on both sides to hold laptop computers, magazines, diapers or other travel supplies. Tag-Along Travel Mat can be produced with transparent plastic on the back or front stead of cloth, making it easier for airport security inspection. Tag-Along Travel Mat can also be produced in various sizes and colors.
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-FED-942 at (800) 851-6030.
