InventHelp® Clients Patent 'Comfort Zone' - Invention Provides Added Comfort for Motorcycle Riders
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 17, 2015 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that two of its clients, inventors from Ohio, have designed a modified motorcycle footrest that could allow a passenger to stretch his or her legs for added comfort while riding. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The “Comfort Zone” could prevent painful cramping and poor blood circulation by reducing the force or pressure on the bottom of the feet. It would not interfere with the operator’s feet while riding. The invention could enable a motorcycle passenger to stretch both legs while riding longer distances for a more enjoyable experience.
The design would feature two adjustable supports with non-skid top surfaces that could be installed on the left and right sides of the motorcycle beneath the existing passenger footrests. Producible from aluminum or steel, the footrests would easily pivot forward and outward for the passenger to stretch his or her legs. A design variation could include a curved and contoured shape for added appeal when extended. The Comfort Zone could be purchased and installed by motorcycle owners or be offered as standard or optional equipment with new-production motorcycles.
“I have bad circulation in my legs. With this modification, I can move my legs from one position to another without interfering with the driver,” said one of the inventors.
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 12-WGH-4347 at (800) 851-6030.
