InventHelp Invention Makes Checking and Changing Diapers More Convenient and Economical (CCP-1295)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 29, 2017 -- An inventor from Park Forest, Ill., was working with an adult patient who needed to be checked for a diaper change, and she had to take off her gloves to check if the patient was wet with urine or not. "That’s when I thought that there should be a better way to determine this," she said.
To meet this need, she designed the patent-pending DRY-EASE, which enables a caregiver to easily determine the presence of urine when checking a person’s diaper. It eliminates the need to take off gloves, which avoids contamination. It also prevents unnecessary disposal of dry diapers, which saves money. Ergonomic, easy to use and designed to save time and effort, DRY-EASE is suitable for medical workers, day care employees, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes and households.
The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
