InventHelp Inventor Develops Aviation Tool for Ground Crews (OCM-823)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 13, 2014 -- "As an aircraft ramp supervisor at LAX, part of my job is opening and closing the cargo doors on large commercial aircraft," said an inventor from Compton, Calif. "Because the doors are so high up, a ladder is required. Of course, in inclement weather, using a ladder can be dangerous. Also, there's not always a ladder handy, so I have to go looking for one. In order to make it easier to open and close the door from the ground, I invented this tool."
He developed the Aircraft Cargo Door Opener to allow the cargo door to be opened and closed easily while standing on the ground. The design eliminates the need to climb a ladder in order to operate the door. This improves working conditions. The unit reduces the risk of slip-and-fall injuries, which is designed to enhance safety. Also, the tool saves time and effort.
The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
