InventHelp Inventor Develops Infant Urine Collection Device (OCM-592)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 25, 2013 -- Infants do not understand the importance of routine medical testing, which can make life difficult for anyone trying to coerce them into cooperating. In order to offer a better option for urine collection, an inventor from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., developed the INFANT URINE COLLECTION DEVICE.
The accessory makes urine-sample collection easier for medical professionals and parents. The design eliminates the need to wait for hours at a doctor's office until the infant has to urinate, which saves time. Additionally, the easy-to-use invention is producible in different sizes and colors.
The inventor's personal experience inspired her idea. "I have personally experienced the difficulties of trying to collect urine samples from an infant," she said. "In order to make the job easier for medical professionals and parents alike, I came up with this improved collection device."
The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
