InventHelp Inventor Develops Modified Wind Deflector for Trailers (AUP-457)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 14, 2015 -- "Beginning in 2014, California law requires that all trailers have at least one form of wind deflector," said an inventor from Manor, Texas. "I thought that if these deflectors were going to be required, then they should be multifunctional."
He created a prototype for the Enclosed Under Trailer Aero Storage to make the trailer more aerodynamic. It moves with the axle, giving 100% aerodynamics at any settings of the axle. The deflector lessens wind resistance, reducing strain on the engine.
This improves fuel economy. The unit also provides storage space for a spare wheel, pads (moving) and load bar load locks to fit van-type trailers. It is adaptable for use on new and existing trailers. Additionally, the device is designed for ease of installation.
The original design was submitted to the Austin office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
