InventHelp Inventor Develops Navigational Aid for Boaters (FLA-2650)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 12, 2015 -- While unlit channel markers are fairly easy to see under normal daytime conditions, they can prove to be hard to spot at night, especially if there is fog or rain. "Having lived on the ICW for 50 years and owned a variety of boats, I saw a need for a rapid channel marker-identifying system at a distance," said an inventor from Riviera Beach, Fla. "In order to help boaters spot them under adverse conditions, I devised this fail-safe electronic system."
He developed the patent-pending MARKERMATE to enable a boater to spot unlit channel markers easily, regardless of weather conditions. This helps the captain to navigate the waterways safely and at a greater speed. It will reduce collisions with unlit markers and grounding due to losing the channel between markers. This system is totally reliable, adapts easily to any type of craft and quickly locates unlit channel markers at night in order to assist boaters with safely and accurately guiding their vessels through waterways, particularly at night or in fog.
