InventHelp Inventor Develops Urine-Collection Aid (OCM-696)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- "I felt that there had to be a better, less messy way to collect a urine sample," said an inventor from Lakewood, Calif. "I personally have used a pair of kitchen tongs to hold the specimen cup during collection so that I did not urinate on my fingers. I came up with this idea because I thought it would make collection easier."
She developed the patent-pending Easy Grasp to make it easier to collect a urine sample. The accessory prevents urine from splashing on fingers and also eliminates spills and messes. This allows urine to be collected in a hygienic manner. Another major benefit is the reduction of contamination of urine collection. Additionally, the invention is producible in other design variations.
The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
