InventHelp Inventor Develops Wheelchair Enhancement Kit (LCC-3020)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 05, 2017 -- "We find that most people who do not use wheelchairs have trouble breaking the ice and starting a conversation with someone who does use a wheelchair," said an inventor from York, Pa. "In order to help bridge this gap, we came up with this decorative kit."
They developed the WHEEL DROBE to add a decorative touch to an otherwise drab wheelchair. The kit allows the appearance of a wheelchair to be personalized so that it serves as a conversation piece. This is designed to encourage more interaction between individuals who do not use wheelchairs and those who do. The invention therefore fosters communication and openness.
The adjustable pieces aid in protecting the individual using the wheelchair against outdoor and weather elements, as well as maintain the stability of the wheelchair, prolonging the breakdown of wheelchair materials. Additionally, the kit is adaptable for use with any new or existing wheelchair.
The original design was submitted to the Lancaster office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
