InventHelp Inventors Develop Surgical Accessory (WDH-652)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 17, 2014 -- "As a nurse, I saw a need for an accessory that would catch and absorb blood draining from a patient’s nose after surgery," said one of two inventors from Andrews Air Force Base, Md. "We came up with this idea to keep patients safer and more comfortable as they recuperate."
They developed the NDP to catch and absorb blood draining from a patient's nose after surgery. This keeps blood from dripping down onto the patient's upper lip. The design enables the patient to breathe easily and helps prevent infection. Additionally, the unit provides added peace of mind, and it is designed for comfortable use.
The original design was submitted to the Washington D.C. office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
