Invention Aids Caregivers in Lifting Wheelchairs - Designed by InventHelp Client (ROH-328)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) June 08, 2017 -- An inventor from West Seneca, N.Y., was the caregiver of her husband, so she had the difficult task of lifting his wheelchair into the trunk or back of the car regularly. Since the chair was heavy and cumbersome, it caused strain and raised the risk of injury. "This inspired me to develop a more ergonomic and safer way to lift wheelchairs," said the inventor.
The patent-pending CAREGIVER/WHEELCHAIR ASSISTANT STRAP enables a user to lift a wheelchair into a vehicle, or carry it up and down stairs. This helps prevent struggle, strain and injury, as well as saves time and effort.
Compact, portable and affordable, and featuring an easy-to-use design, this invention is designed to promote both convenience and peace of mind.
The original design was submitted to the Rochester office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
