Invention Allows for Safer Spraying of Herbicides and Pesticides (JMC-1976)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 20, 2017 -- As director of farming for an agency that helps the developmentally disabled, an inventor from Voorheesville, N.Y., oversees the growth of vegetable crops. However, he's no longer certified for pesticide application. "This inspired me to design a safe and responsible way to control weeds around sweet corn via glyphosate and other pesticides," he said.
He then created a prototype of the patent-pending THE DRIFT INHIBITOR, a device that enables a user to spray herbicides or pesticides in a safer and more precise way. It allows for greater control in order to prevent spraying of non-target vegetation. As a result, it avoids damage and poisoning.
Ergonomic, easy to use and producible in design variations, the invention is suitable for households, small farmers, landscapers and arborists.
The original design was submitted to the National Sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
