Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Boot for an Injured Foot (BMA-4743)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 16, 2016 -- "I had several foot surgeries, and sometimes I had pins protruding from the ends of my toes," said an inventor from Peabody, Mass. "I wore a boot while my foot healed, but it was an open-toed boot, which left the pins at risk of being bumped. I invented this more protective surgical boot accessory."
She created a prototype for the patent-pending PROTECTOE to protect the foot and toes from bumps and bangs. The accessory prevents anything from coming into contact with the healing foot and toes. This promotes a more rapid recovery.
The unit enables the wearer to avoid painful contact with hard surfaces and avoids further trauma to the healing foot and toes, which alleviates fears and concerns. Additionally, the invention provides added peace of mind while recuperating.
The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
