Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Warning System for Refueling (JMC-1864)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 29, 2016 -- Seeing a potential way to optimize safety and security at fuel stations, an inventor from Kalispell, Mont., came up with an effective alarm system.
He developed the patent-pending FUELING SAFETY ALARM to alert a driver if the fuel nozzle is still left in the fuel spout of the vehicle. After fueling, this enables the driver to remove the fuel nozzle from the vehicle and return it to the pump before driving off. The invention thereby avoids expensive damages to fuel pumps. This is designed to save costs for insurance companies, fuel-station owners and motorists, which provides added peace of mind. Furthermore, the system is adaptable for use with both new and existing vehicles.
The inventor's personal observations inspired the idea. "I was fueling my pickup truck, and I thought that there should be a safety alarm circuit to prevent anyone from driving away from the fuel pump with the fuel nozzle still left in the fuel spout of the vehicle," he said.
The original design was submitted to the National Sales Office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
