Inventor Develops Redesigned Utensil for Children (NJD-1446)
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) October 19, 2017 -- "I thought that if utensils were designed especially for children, then they would have a much easier time learning to feed themselves," said an inventor from Staten Island, N.Y. "I came up with this utensil to include a developmentally appropriate grip to assist a young child."
She created a prototype for the patent-pending KNOBBI to enable a young child to hold the utensil firmly in hand. The design makes it easier for children to feed themselves. It provides greater control over the utensil head. This instills good eating habits. The grip is developmentally appropriate. Additionally, the utensil is designed to be fun and visually appealing.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
