Inventors and InventHelp Clients Develop Convenient Securement Device for Lights, Etc. (IPL-403)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 20, 2017 -- "My husband grew tired of having to secure Christmas lights to our house with duct tape," said one of two inventors from Fithian, Ill. "He thought that there should be a quicker, faster, less troublesome way to hang them. I told him my idea, and we have found it remarkably useful."
They created a prototype for the patent-pending POLY T CLIP to offer a convenient way to hang string lights on various surfaces. The unit provides a more efficient alternative to other means of securement, such as fasteners and clips. It securely fastens lights to metal surfaces, such as roofs, mobile homes, campers, pole barns, etc. The device allows for greater versatility and ease of application compared to current products. The invention is ideal for use with Christmas lights, and also can be used year-round for other purposes. Furthermore, the accessory also could be used to attach ropes, lightweight bags or heavier items.
The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
