Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- Sawing through masonry materials creates clouds of dust that can obscure visibility and endanger workers' health. In order to cut down on this dust, two inventors from Plumtree, N.C., created a prototype for the DUST BE GONE. The invention is patent-pending.
The system offers a convenient way to extract and filter dust generated while cutting tile, brick, stone and other materials. This increases the overall health and safety on a jobsite. It also improves the visibility of the tool and workpieces. In addition, the unit features a compact, easily portable design, and it is made of durable materials.
The inventors' professional experience inspired the idea. "As a mason, I am always cutting brick and stone at work, and it creates a tremendous amount of dust," one inventor said. "We put our heads together and developed this system to eliminate and contain all of the dust generated from the saw."
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
