Investor Group Announces Jingle Contest With Prize Money
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- The Pittsburgh Real Estate Investors Association is holding an open competition to find a jingle writer for the club. The jingle should focus on the benefits of learning how to make money in real estate, and the specifics of the Pittsburgh based group. This press release is geared toward students, entertainers, artists, and bands of all kinds.
The jingle must be submitted before December 1, 2013, and a winner will be announced at the clubs December 17th, meeting. The winner will also be featured in a nation-wide press release. The prize money may be small but the title and the public exposure could be worth a lot of money to the winner. The jingle must be less than five minutes long and can be in any musical style. Artists and composers are free to create any form of music that they feel will be competitive. Country music, rap, heavy metal, polka and banjo music are all equally likely to win the title.

The contest rules are simple. The individual or group who submits the best jingle gets the prize money. The music must be formatted as an MP3, and all rights to the recording are retained by the club. Any entrant who would like some free publicity can also submit a video to the group. All video submissions will be loaded onto the club’s YouTube page.
The winner will be selected based on the opinion of the Pittsburgh REIA board of directors. No other criteria exist. According to club President Josh Caldwell of Caldwell Holdings, “the only advice I can offer is to be creative, be yourself, and have fun. It might be an old guy with an accordion who wins this contest, or it might be a touring band. We have no idea what it takes to win this competition, other than creativity.”
This is the first time that a real estate group has sponsored such a contest. The problem is that there just aren’t any real estate or investing songs on the commercial market. There are songs about money, but none of them really capture the soul of the entrepreneur. At the core of this contest is a challenge to the entire music industry. This is now a quest to find that special song writer and musician who can convert the group’s mission of education into a catchy tune. To the winner go the spoils.
