Sonoma, CA (PRWEB) May 06, 2017 -- Danielle Westfall assumed the Chief Executive Officer role effective March 1, 2017. With unanimous support from invino’s Board of Directors and Advisors, her innovative leadership and entrepreneurship will further invino’s steady growth and prominent position in the ecommerce wine marketplace.
Since she cofounded invino in 2010 with her husband and business partner, Anthony Westfall, Danielle received national recognition for launching the first private sale online retailer dedicated to the wine vertical. The company successfully expanded its market reach to 1 Million customers while maintaining its consistent focus on its core principles: discovery, value, and service.
Danielle’s vast background in marketing, branding, and operations includes an integral role in the early stages of Wine.com, creation of wine brands for internationally renowned film icons and franchises, and pioneering brand development in the food category. It was her love of family and community that pulled her to Sonoma, and her love of wine that pushed her to disrupt the online wine retail space.
While women entrepreneurs are making strides in the wine industry, Danielle Westfall sits at the unique intersection of retail, import and distribution. Focused on methodical growth, she plans to build on the company’s successful acquisitions (Cellar Thief, Glassful, and Wine Tasting Network) and amplify GCW’s market share through new trendsetting programs.
“We’ve come a long way since starting invino,” says Danielle Westfall, invino CEO. “With such strong brand recognition in the online wine retail marketplace and an exceptional team around me, I’m honored and thrilled to advance invino and all our portfolio companies’ customer experience and value. I’m also excited to take what is already incredibly high standards for products and service coupled with my personal passion for exceptionalism will up our game even more!”
In addition to serving as CEO and evangelist for invino, Danielle oversaw the development of her own wine brand, C’est Bon, as well as the curated wine subscription companies, Glassful and Bubbles Club. She also recently launched the nationally distributed, Pink & Blue Wines, with Olivia Newton-John.
